Congratulations Calum

Calum gets six A levels and secures his place at uni.

There are some days when you have a real 'proud parent' moment and today is such a day.

Calum received his long awaited A level results and he didn't disappoint.
He achieved six A levels, all at grades A to C and now has his university place confirmed.

It wasn't easy and he worked incredibly hard. He deserves his success. He earned it.

It's a lovely feeling to know that his future is now mapped out for him and he can go off for his gap year in Australia in the knowledge that he has a university place to come back to.

He'll be studying Graphic Design at Ravensbourne
College of Art and Design and a career in advertising beckons.

So congratulations Calum.

Today is your day.

And I couldn't be more proud.

Sweet Sixteen - Part 2

Birthday girl at Caffee Uno
On 27 July 2009, Lola turned 16.

We had a mother-daughter day in Cambridge, lunching, shopping and having fun. It was a lovely day and Lola had a lovely time which is exactly what birthdays are for.

We got back in time for birthday cake and champagne - perfect!
