The Terminator

As far as I'm concerned, there is only one Terminator and that's Arnold Schwarzenegger (try saying that when you've had a few!). Personally, I prefer to think of him as Arnold Schwarzenevega, which is what Lola used to call him when she was little. Bless.

Arnie may have had a few abberations like the dreadful Kindergarten Cop (what were you thinking of Arnie?) but he's at his best when he's playing a lean, mean, machine (and I mean this literally).

So when Joe went down to London recently and saw Arnie's handprints outside Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square, he had to capture the moment.

After all, it's not every day you get to meet The Terminator - or at least his hands ...

Gorgeous Blossom

At this time of year our garden always looks incredibly pretty covered in a myriad of blossom.

My favourite is the cherry blossom. I love its delicate pink colour and abundance of blooms.

When it falls it looks like confetti and covers the lawn with a beautiful blanket of petals.
The cherry blossom is a sign that spring has finally arrived.

And it brings me happiness every time.

Ve Hef Vays of Making You Laff

Ist das Deutsch?
Cute car
I saw this funky little vehicle parked in Cambridge and, like many passers by, couldn't resist the urge to stop and have a good look. As a German speaker, I laughed out load when I saw the notice in the window.

Who says Germans don't have a sense of humour? (Okay, it probably wasn't written by a German but it was very funny anyway).

Or as the Germans would say 'sehr lustig!'
